The truth
I’ve had iron and fruit in my mouth; it tastes like heaven and- fruit. Believe me when I say; I can take out fires with a single blow; I’ve flown through hurricanes; I’ve walked barefoot in broken glass and danced ballet right after; I can lift a cherry tree and tie it in a bow with my tongue; I've lived through scurvy; I get giddy; I giggle; I get lost between eyelashes. I met a mermaid and she said hello. The trance of the mermaid. The trance of me; my eyes blue as the sea and the sky but I’m glad I can only see yours. Now I can move a mountain with my pinky toe.
Listen, when I crack my knuckles I cause earthquakes and avalanches. I can tend a farm for thirty years; I can live off the land. I can grow out my beard and my hair and live with the lions. I eat crayons and doodoo doodles. I pee out fresh water. I still can’t backflip, though…. But I can give a good hug. Believe me. I have a titanium back. I’ve been hit by sidewalks but I still get up. My heart’s been broke a bajillion times, what’s one more. The risk is worth the reward.
I have passion and strength and all of my bones work.
I feel like a cookie fresh out of the oven.
This is all true.
